How to Apply

Step 1: Academic Information

a) Academic Terms

There are three academic terms per year. Applicants can apply for admissions in any term. However, the registration process is closed two weeks before each academic term starts. The date of registration is subject to change.

• Term Starts
• Term I: December to April
• Term II: April to July
• Term III: August to November
• Application Starts
• Term I: September to November
• Term II: January to March
• Term III: May to July

b) Study Session

• Morning: 8:30 am – 11:30 am (Monday – Friday)
• Afternoon : 1:30 pm – 4:30 pm (Monday – Friday)

c) Tuition Fee

The tuition fee payment is made by the academic terms (three terms per academic year) as below:

Step 2. Admission Criteria

In order to be admitted into the program at CamTech, applicants must meet the following requirements:

a) For new students:

• High school certificate or any equivalent certificate (certified by recognized authority);
• Birth certificate, National Identification Card, or Passport;
• Current passport-size photo (with formal dress).

*** High school certificate can be submitted later when it requires for taking entrance exam.

b) For transfer students:

• High school certificate or any equivalent certificate (certified by recognized authority);
• Academic transcript from the previous recognized institution (certified by the host institution or recognized authority);
• Certificate of English proficiency (if any available)
• Birth certificate, National Identification Card, or Passport;
• Current passport-size photo (with formal dress).

c) For Foreign Students:

• Original high school certificate or any equivalent certificate;
• Original high school transcript (if available);
• A recommendation letter from the host school principal or a teacher;
• Passport​ with 6-months validity to the day arrival in Cambodia;
• Certificate of English proficiency for non-native English speaker (if any available);
• Health certificate;
• Current passport-size photo (with formal dress).

*** High school certificate can be submitted later when it requires for taking entrance exam.

Step 3. Filling out Application Form

In order to apply online for admission, applicant must click the link to register for creating username account. And then follow these:

• Fill out the Application Form along with a passport-size photo (photo in jpg);
• Upload the required documents as mentioned in the application form (all files must be in pdf);
• Pay 15$ for the Application Form;
• Pay 15$ for administration and Entrance Exam.

*** After submitting application, applicant will receive a notification on application status via email.

Step 4. Committee’s Selection

After reviewing the applications, the CamTech Selection Committee makes decision to select potential applicants for further proceeding. The selected applicants will be notified via phone call or email by the Admission Office about the schedule of:

• An Online Entrance Exam with three contents included (IQ, English, and Specialized subject);
• An Online Interview by CamTech Selection Committee (conducted in English via Google Meet);
• Create video and submit grade 12 study record (1st and 2nd semester for high schoolers graduated of this academic year).

Note:

• Those who enroll in Faculty of Engineering, Faculty of Applied Science, and Faculty of Built Environment, the specialized subject is mixed of Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry;
• Those who enroll in other faculties, the specialized subject is based on the chosen major;
• The English exam is waived if the applicant holds a valid TOEFL iBT score of 60, IELTS score of 5.5 on the overall band, or he/she is an English native speaker.

Step 5. Result Announcement

• The result of Entrance Exam will be informed to applicants by email within 7 working days after the exam;
• The result of Interview will be informed to applicants by email within 7 working days after the interview;
• The Letter of Admission will be issued to the successful applicants via email;
• The successful applicant will be invited by email to attend the orientation day.

Step 6. Tuition Fee Payment

• Pay tuition fee via bank account provided (term, year, or the whole program).
  

*** For foreign students, the visa application expenses are covered by themselves but CamTech will facilitate the process (when arrival in Cambodia).
